During your next Maine vacation at Spruce Point Inn Resort and Spa this season, book a private sail along Boothbay Harbor onboard your own Friendship Sloop! The Sarah Mead, known as the original lobster boat, a fully restored Newbert and Wallace 32' classic wooden Friendship sloop and currently the only wooden sailing lobster boat on the Maine coast, is operated by a single captain with one crew member - exclusively from the Spruce Point Inn Dock.

As a fellow "Environmental Leader", the family of the Sarah Meade is converting to Electric Propulsion for the 2013 season. A new way of boating.

Provision:

Provisions for your sail may be purchased at the Inn's gift shop and a boxed lunch is also available with 24 hour notice at our Front Desk.

Depart:

Departs with up to 6 passengers from the Inn's dock - beginning June 1, 2013.

11 AM $30 per passenger

12 - 2 PM $40 per passenger

3 - 5 PM $40 per passenger

6 - 8 PM $50 per passenger
