The ocean, affectionately known by locals and summer residents as the “Boothbay pool”, isn’t the only place to swim at Spruce Point Inn. Our oceanfront salt water pool was constructed in 1991 to upgrade the original tidal pool from the 1930’s. Poolside service, comfortable teak furnishings, a hot tub and waterfront sporting amenities make this location one of the first stops for guests each season.
Another full size pool (with a wading pool) also on the resort grounds is heated and adjacent to our Lighthouse Children’s Camp and playground. This is a great location to spread out and soak up “treasured memories made in Maine”.
The salt water pool overlooks Burnt Island Lighthouse and the entrance to the “inner harbor”. Enjoy enclosed sundecks, plentiful lounge chairs, and warm service. Bikes, kayaks, paddleboards, an historic wooden sailing sloop, and private launch are some of the reasons guests return to the resort saltwater pool year after year.
The second pool, in a sheltered grove adjacent to the Lighthouse Children’s Camp and playground, is a family favorite offering pool toys and a heated wading pool.
